The decor feels worn out, lacking charm. Music blared into the early hours, disrupting sleep. Service was inattentive. a missed food order left us frustrated. For future guests, consider other dining options outside. Not recommended for a peaceful getaway.

The stay was pleasant with comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere provided by friendly staff. the cleanliness was inconsistent, and some amenities, like the pub's opening hours, were not clearly communicated, which affected the dining experience. This location is great for families seeking a cozy getaway.

Outstanding breakfast and friendly staff
During my one-night stay, I was impressed by the exceptional breakfast that featured locally sourced ingredients and generous portion sizes. The staff provided a warm welcome and were helpful throughout my visit, even accommodating my late arrival. the noise from the pub could be a concern for light sleepers.

we had a great time at prince of wales b&b. the staff were super accommodating, helped us order takeout since they dont serve dinner. the prince albert room was really comfy n clean, we slept like babies. also, the booklet about the pub n rooms was a fun touch! definitely made our trip better.
only downside was that the pub was a bit noisy at night, and i wish they had more dining options available.

Had a great time with friends! We spent our days exploring Osborne House and the beach nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we even enjoyed takeaway in the bar area. The rooms were comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Just a heads up, while breakfast was decent, a coffee machine in the room would be a nice touch for lazy mornings.

The location was fantastic, right across from Osborne House. We enjoyed exploring nearby shops and the charming café for lunch. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was hearty with plenty of options, making it enjoyable for both families.
In my wife’s opinion, having squeaky beds disturbed our sleep. A solution for families would be to equip rooms with sturdier beds for a more restful night.

The Classic Double Room was cozy and had this nice vintage vibe. The bed was super comfy, which was great for recovering after a long day. The shower had decent power and hot water, no issues there. It was clean too, but I did hear some noise from the pub below on Saturday night. it was a nice place to stay for a weekend getaway.

the prince was such a lovely stay! The recent refurb on the ground floor really made a difference. it’s clean and bright. the staff was super friendly, especially the housekeeping team! we felt welcomed the whole time. plus, it’s near everything, even with the roadworks outside. it was a wonderful end to our hike with great food and a lovely atmosphere.

Could use some love but decent potential!
We stayed for 2 nights in a classic double room. The place has charm and they are working on modernizing things. The bar area was a nice spot to hang out. Just a heads up, though—finding staff was tricky at times. some much-needed improvements would go a long way!

missingWrote a review on 18 Juninconvenient bathroom
The toilet and shower being outside the bedroom catch many off guard, posing a bit of an inconvenience. Wet towels linger due to the lack of a heated towel rail, which might cramp any traveler’s style. Breakfast left much to be desired—first day, no breakfast was cooked, and the second day’s was greasy and unappetizing, served in a lackluster environment that needed some serious cleaning. The table surfaces felt rough and were not well maintained, which detracted from the experience. If you plan to drop off bags before checking in, note that the storage area locks up—timing can be a bit tricky for those wanting to explore first.
